About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Intake (intake.ink). By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them with the privacy notice.

Who can use Intake

You must be 16 or over and live in the UK. One account per person; keep your sign-in private.

What Intake does, and doesn't

Intake helps you find degree apprenticeships, prepare CVs and answer drafts, and practise interviews and online tests. You decide what to send and you submit every application yourself.

Programme details and dates come from firms' own pages and our research and can change without notice. Always check the firm's official page before you apply.

Intake doesn't guarantee an interview or a place. Chance estimates and scores are guides based on what you've told us, not predictions from any employer.

Practice tests use our own questions in the style of each provider. They're not the real tests and aren't endorsed by those providers or firms.

AI content

Drafts, feedback and Ivy's replies are written by AI from what you've confirmed. They can contain mistakes. You're responsible for checking anything you use, and for making sure what you send to employers is true and your own.

Payments and refunds

Intake is free to start: every account gets 100 credits. Things that cost us AI or voice time use credits, and the cost is shown before you spend anything. Practice tests, the tracker and deadlines are free.

You can buy one-off credit packs (250 for £5, 600 for £10, 1,500 for £20), which last until the end of the current application season. Or subscribe to Intake Plus for £10 a month, which gives 1,000 credits each month; monthly credits don't roll over. You can cancel Plus at any time from Plan, and it stays on until the end of the month you've paid for.

If you change your mind about a credit pack within 14 days and haven't used its credits, we'll refund it in full. Email hello@intake.ink. This doesn't affect your statutory rights.

Students receiving free school meals or a bursary can apply for free Intake Plus in Plan.

Using Intake fairly

Don't misuse Intake: no attempts to break or overload it, scrape it, access other people's data, upload anything unlawful or anyone else's personal data, or use it to deceive employers.

We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety stops us.

Your content

What you upload and write stays yours. You let us store and process it only to run Intake for you. Delete it, or your whole account, whenever you like.

Our responsibility

We take reasonable care to keep Intake accurate and available, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, such as for death or injury caused by negligence.

Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and the law

We'll tell you in the app before important changes to these terms take effect.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, where you can also use your local courts.
